Managing Director
With nearly four decades of engineering experience and a solid foundation stemming from apprenticeships in multiple disciplines, James brings a wealth of technical expertise.
Beyond professional pursuits, James contributes as a rock climbing instructor and scout leader, emphasizing mentorship and community engagement.
Holding a qualification as an EEMUA tank assessor underscores their commitment to safety and compliance.
Chris Burwood
Production Director
Chris, a seasoned engineer with a BEng Hons in Engineering: Design and Manufacture, and IMechE's Incorporated Engineer, boasts 6 years of industry expertise. Specialising in pharmaceutical fabrications, polishing, and orbital welding, he stands out with unique skills.
Outside of work, as a rock climbing instructor, Chris imparts his knowledge and passion for adventure to others. Additionally, his dedication extends to the scouting community, where he serves as an Explorer Scout leader, fostering leadership and personal development in the younger generation.
Gregor Taylor
Project Engineer
Gregor, returning as Project Engineer, adds diverse expertise to Burnhouse Engineering. From Marine Engineer to Installations and Multi-discipline Maintenance roles in Pharmaceuticals, he holds an HND in Mechanical Engineering and PD in Marine Management, alongside various certifications.
His return signifies not only a reunion but also a valuable addition to the team's collective knowledge. Gregor's extensive experience and educational achievements underscore his commitment to excellence in engineering, making him an asset to the Burnhouse Engineering Team.
